I've been pretty torn lately - As always I want to reinvent myself as an artist, which means actually submitting art and making a nice/updated profile page. I have three options, because I only want to really maintain one site:
DeviantArt - Is not good for the 'furre'/'animal drawers' because there is so much other artwork out there, but I'm not looking to target those 'other' people, mainly 'furre-like' people. I like DA's folders and the fact you can customize if you have a subscription. Not to mention DA was the first art site we all used, so its home-y.
Furaffinity - Good, sleek layout. Targets furres. Good place to get commissions, etc. But, FA has made a lot of unkept promises to update the site. I would love to have the 'hide your favorites' feature. I can't imagine it is that hard to update that into the system. So who knows when FA will really update itself? And what can we expect from them in the future with site performance?
Weasyl - Weasyl is a gorgeous site! Everything you could ever want, folders, banners, personalization, a place of commission info, SO ORGANIZED! Which the OCD in me loves, but.. the main downside, its in Beta and doesn't have a lot of traffic so no exposure would be gained.
Any suggestions or your opinions would be great.
Thanks <3
